It's summer, and I'm babysitting.  Most of the time, just David M. My very active niece spent a week at our house.  This past week, we were going to take them to the park to run off some of their energy.  I got them both ready, and just as we were about to head out the door, I realized that David didn't have shoes on yet. I checked his bag, and no shoes were in there.  I checked every possible place that they could be, and I couldn't find anything.  I put some, rather big, sandals on him, and we were going to go out real quick to find some shoes.  My plan was to guess his size, get some low priced shoes, and keep them with me in case of emergencies.
Our first stop was the Dollar Store.  I ran in, and after a few minutes of searching, I found nothing.  :-/  Went back out to the car, and my mom asked me if I wanted to go into Payless.  I had an urge to go to Walmart, so I asked her if I could to go Walmart first.  She drove me over, and as I walked in, I prayed that I would find some shoes. (Maybe $3-$5).  I walked to the shoes section, looked around a little, and nothing.  I had skipped an area, so I decided to go check there.  Almost immediately, I noticed a pair of little brown shoes that could be used for play.  I checked the price, and they were marked down to $1.   I was so shocked, yet humbled and amazed of how God cares even for our little problems.  Now, to guess on the size.  I grabbed one that looked like it would fit a 2 year old.  Checked out, and off to the car I went to show my mom my awesome answer to prayer.  :)  Oh, and the shoe size was just perfect.  :)
Well, I was planning on posting a picture of them, but I've misplaced them... "The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away..."  ;)  If I do find them, I'll be uploading it to my photos.  :) (*edit, I'll be adding it on here.)

That's wonderful, Judy! During the winter I got Livy some crocs to keep at our house to wear this summer. They were only $2, and she wears them all the time. :)
